209th Avenue north project area
The map below shows 209th Avenue between Alexander Street and Blanton Street. 209th Avenue will be improved to five lanes (two motor vehicle lanes and a center turn lane) north of TV Highway, tapering back to two lanes at Alexander Street.
209th Avenue and Tualatin Valley Highway
The exhibit below shows improvements to the intersection of 209th Avenue and TV Highway. The railroad crossing south of TV Highway will be upgraded. Dedicated right-turn lanes will be added from TV Highway onto 209th Avenue. Bus pullouts will also be added to both sides of TV Highway near 209th Avenue.
209th Avenue south project area
The map below shows 209th Avenue between Blanton Street and Eggert Way. 209th Avenue will be widened to five lanes (two motor vehicle lanes and a center turn lane) between TV Highway and Kinnaman Street. A new traffic signal will be installed at the intersection of 209th Avenue and Blanton Street. 209th Avenue will transition back to existing street width between Kinnaman Street and Eggert Way.
